i'VE BEEN DRINKING, AND i'VE DONE THINGS... (Page 1/1)

SO... I've been drinking while watching videos about the state of our economy (a good combination), and I randomly remembered that I never ordered my packet from the Pontiac Historical Society.

If anyone hasn't done so... check it out, PHS: http://www.phs-online.com/index.html

Basically, they'll send you a build sheet and a bunch of other stuff on your car for $100 bucks (ors omething like that). I bought one for my uncle back in the ealry 2000s for his pristine 1968 Potniac Firebird 400.

Also, while I was at it, I also joined the Pontiac Oakland club, which I now remember that back in 1997, I was also a member. THe website hasn't changed, so God only knows... but I joined it nayoway.

The lesson here is... do not drink unless you've hidden your credit cards.

Love you guys...

I have been a POCI member for 17 years, but I never got around to ordering the PHS packet for any of my cars.
I bought my first Pontiac, a '70 GP, in 1974 and have owned the Goat since 1976. I bought my current '70 GP in the early '90s and bought my Fiero in 2004.

Oh man, I completely forgot that you had some of those cars. For a very long time, I was totally infatuated with the 1976-1977 Pontiac Grand Prix... there was just something about them. You could also get them with T-Tops or with a moon roof as well. But as I've gotten older, I've kind of become more appreciative of the older GPs... and really like the early 70s ones. Can you post a picture?

Todd, remind me to teach you how to drink. You won't remember what you did the night before.
Kidding.

I am also a fan of the Grand Pix. My favorite year is 1972. That year, the Pontiac Grand Prix SJ 455 was the one to have.

Also, I love the Pontiac Riviera. Enjoy these images.

I was found not guilty of an open container (hooch) in a car. By a technicality . Liquor, beer, have to be sealed while being transported in a vehicle.

I represented myself. I argued that it was sealed because it was in a large zip-lock freezer bag. The directions on the box instructed how to seal the bag. The definition in the statute only said "sealed".

Todd...no, you havent been drinking yet.

Some guys from Northern Michigan, a couple guys from Tennessee and one or 2 from Kentucky.

It comes in mason jars. Drink it, strip paint with it and in a pinch use it as a linament. Can also start a 2-stroke motor with it. Whatever you do, dont get it near an open flame !!!

ROTFFLMAO....OK, "canadian government unapproved" ??

How wide was that border river again ???

ROTFLMFAO !!!

I forgot. Don't try that. I posted on April Fools Day.
