These are up for auction on a local site. Havent got a CLUE what they are off of, but the welded grip stops are kind of unique. And they are BIG, looks like almost 4 feet.

Bikes?

for data you post + pic above...
Looks more like old "Bent" bar for Weight Lifting.

Angles shifted you hands to target different muscles in forearms.
"Washers" shown stops plate(s) moving in. Above pic is "missing" whatever collars to hold plate(s) on each end.

If true is Solid Steel Bar and heavy. From memory Bar alone is 15-25lb.

That could very well be.

Auction site has them listed as handlebars and I just assumed bike.

<edit>

Yup, you solved it.

There was a silly trend, 10-15 years ago, where people were putting low and wide bars on custom Harleys. That looks like something somebody cobbed up, though.
Are they 1" or 7/8"?

This is the only example I could find. I don't think anybody wants to admit that they ever did it.

edit: Ogre got it right.

Not as silly as the apes I put on the trike !

Between them and the extended forks, that thing is 5 1/2 feet high now.

Auction and most outside of weightlifting likely never see a Bent bar and other weird training bars. Only standard straight bars and likely don't even know have plan and floating ends. Floaters let the plates to rotate so lifter's hands etc won't wind up as plate torque changes. You see Floaters in many classes w/ a lot of weight.
