Heard good things about this docuseries. Watching part 1 (of 4) now...
"Set under the lush canopies of Uganda's Ngogo Forest, scientists and field trackers have lived alongside this tribe for the last 25 years, watching as they built a sophisticated political and familial structure: forming alliances, building trust, caring for one another, and often going head to head in a never ending fight for power. Reed and his team embedded a camera crew to capture an intimate look at the chimps of Ngogo, which saw some of the most tumultuous battles and dramatic changes in the tribe's history. During the series, babies will grow, relationships will blossom, and leaders will rise and fall."

Primate.. (yes, I know her name is spelled wrong (& no, I did not write this)
Grand Dad went to the matinee To watch King Kong fondle Fay Ray In his leathery hand the beauty lay Wearing nothing but a satin negligee My Daddy was born nine months to the day After that fateful matinee All because of Fay Ray’s nipples Daddy was born in Phil-a-del-phi-aaa All because of Fay Ray’s nipples
Flesh begets flesh In the usual way Daddy’s only here because of Fay Ray.
Daddy had an album Of photos from the war Snapshots taken of Okinawan whores Dressed in sarongs like Dorothy Lamour For a nickel they’d drop the dress on the floor And happily pose in front of the camera With fruit on their head Like Carmen Miranda I was born nine months to the day After Daddy got back to the USA Because of little native women Dressed like Dorothy Lamour Dressed in sarongs like Dorothy Lamour
Flesh begets flesh In the usual way I am only here because of Fay Ray.
Women are more than baby machines More than naked pictures in magazines I’m no prude Don’t get me wrong If you don’t want kids Don’t watch King Kong Flesh begets flesh In the usual way We’re all here because of Fay Ray.

Just a remake of Jane Goodall... You can bet will find a way to spin Green and Woke "issues." I'll pass. ------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)

Why assume these things? The footage quality is excellent. There is ZERO human interaction with the chimps. I have only seen half of it, but there has been NO "Woke" or "Green" things mentioned at all. If that stuff was in it, I wouldn't watch it (or mention it here) It's all just about the chimps and their relationships and such. None of that "generate an artificial situation and then film it like it was spontaneous" garbage. Nor are they trying to say they are superior to humans because of bla bla bla...I heard there was some 'graphic' stuff in there, but they didn't focus on that aspect of it. I've find it "entertaining", I suppose, but it's subtle. I'm in it more for watching the non-verbal communication between them.

Huh, never heard of that… or the meme surrounding it.
Guy once told me “Never trust a man who never blinks”. Saw a atrange guy in a department store soon after that. Ihe was just standing there, not blinking…. Or BREATHING. Turns out he was something called a man-a-can, something like that. Pretty weird. Guess they have those sorts of things now.

Gorillas are nearly extinct now, because of their usefulness in making glue, tape and other sticky stuff
