How to tell her she cant have it anymore ? (Page 1/1)

Every single time Kim goes out on her scoot she brings it back with *something* broken.
EVERY single time. Today it was a seat lock bolt broken. Yeh, I can take it apart, drill it out and re-tap it for a new one, or just drill through the mount and use a nut/bolt. Probably an easier fix that way.
I didnt mind getting it going for her and adding a few "extras and upgrades", but I resent the hell out of being the on-call-fix-it-guy. There is a REASON I refuse to fix "stuff" for a living anymore.
I dont wanna hear it. I dont wanna be bothered with it. I dont wanna deal with it. I dont care....It's become too big an ongoing problem that means I have to drop my stuff to deal with somebody else's.
Customers and neighbors are easy to tell to shut up and go away and find a caring department. My hours are 8-5 and shut up and wait your turn..... Little bit harder when it's your wife.
I honestly am about at the point of deliberately shorting and frying the controller and telling her it's done and cant be fixed anymore....but then that is going to lead to another one with the same issues happening. She is plain old too rough on them and tries to drive it like a mountain bike or car. It was never meant or designed for that. Slow down going over a driveway ramp ? Hell, no. Hit that 2-inch bump at full speed.

Get her a small quad and mount the scoot body on it
