well, go to the site, login, and and click on the "cancel ENTIRE account"...
then the page refreshes.
and it says "No!!! we want you to remain a customer... how about you pay 50%?
Then you click "duhhh hurrrr. ok"
and you get 12 months at half the amount you were paying.

Sheet, man, I've got like 3 years of Prime on account simply for effed-up orders which they fixed anyway.
I might be right-wing, but I aint stupid when somebody is offering.

It worked for our website provider and my friend just did it with his Verizon cell phone plan (I think he had about 8-9 lines)
Probably wouldn't work with Amazon.

I did that with at&t a few times. Called to cancel cable, and they 'find' that I'm eligible for a promotional price. Something like 40% less than I was paying. Well eventually they couldn't find those deals anymore, so I actually did cancel.
