Very cool. Does he need an assistant, .
I used to have, back in my stupid days, an all glass coffee table in my living room. With live rattlesnakes in it. Is the right word terrarium ? The wife was none to happy. It all changed when we had our first born.
Much later in life, my friends wife would not allow her husband to have his Black Emperor Scorpion. I took on the care for it. The Black Emperor Scorpion is one of the largest scorpions in the world. My friend told me they are not aggressive, that you can hold it in your hand. When I asked about what happens if it stung me, he said it is nature's inoculation.
What the fruck, I did hold it. It never stung me and soon I was letting it crawl on my shoulder, and walk around. While shirtless. People thought I was crazy, or stupid, or both, .
Of course, the tail stinger is the weapon.

I (the dad) am his assistant. He was python hunting long before the state started the python removal program. The removal program will never happen as just one female can give birth to dozens and dozens of eggs. A few years ago he caught a 16 ft 181 pound female that gave birth to 81 eggs.

Cool, I'll check out his channel. "Python Cowboy" was recently on Rogan podcast. Interesting episode.

He does not get involved. The python hunt is a farce. I will leave it at that.

I forewent the serpents and still met lots of strippers and only cost me about 2 $1 bills each.

I respect that. I was never a trophy hunter.
Still, after your thread was posted, I started to see python "news". I was not looking for any. The first was about a young man who caught one ... the new world-record-length Burmese python. Not in the Everglades.
Florida man filmed wrestling and capturing world-record-length Burmese python . I don't understand a news report like that does not mention the new record length. Or the old record.
