I love MidJourney. I mostly use it for creating backgrounds/backdrops for promotional material. But I'm now trying to create very specific images with it but can't get it to create what I want, simply because I'm not very good in creating prompts.
I have written a game for VR and I'm now trying to make a promotional video for it. It should be comparable to those videos you see while waiting in line for a ride in an amusement park. It's a narrator telling the story, and I want to show slides. So no real moving images.
For instance, one of the slides looks like this.
And this is actually the first version of the narrative:
So anyone here know a thing or two about MidJourney prompting? Or if you are more versed with Stable Diffusion or Leonardo, that's fine too.

Definitely save your prompts somewhere (a .txt file)
Search for existing images that have what you are looking for and thenreview their prompts - many Discords show the prompts, and you can grab what suits the look you are aiming towards - " a [thing] in the style of [artist] , the palette should be [foo] " Time of day/night. say what you want out loud, or sketch it. some words and phrases are more 'powerful' - photrealistic, scary,
look at the prompts in these three...

I know how I can get the general feel of an image right. But I can't get it to create specific things.
For instance, I'm now trying to create an image of a person sitting behind a table with an small open safe in front of him and light beams coming out of the safe.
First of all, MidJourney thinks every safe has a clock so it draw every safe with a clock on it. Next, it just doesn't understand the concept of "lightbeams coming out of the safe". A prompt like "19th century, In an old victorian study, we see the silhoutte of a man lookinginside a small safe on the table in front of him. Light rays are coming from within the safe an are illuminating the man's face. monochromatic colors, dark cartoon style --ar 16:9" comes up with images like these:
After having it create dozens of variations, it eventuall came up with this, which is close, but still not what I want:
