Daylight Savings Time (Page 1/4)

Well, it's that time that comes around annually. Move those clocks back an hour, next we'll be moving them forward again only to keep repeating the process.
I absolutely despise this annual exercise that I consider a useless waste of time and effort. Some states agree with me and don't move their clocks back and forth. Moving to one isn't an option but, I am envious and can not understand why Congree can't fix this. I really don't care if we go all in on DST or not but, quit changing the damn time.

OK, I feel better now.

DST is just like Bruce Jenner and Cher's daughter. No matter what anybody wants you to believe, when the sun is directly overhead it is noon, midday, 12:00 POST MERIDIEM!

This thread happens every year. I've always wanted it to just stay one or the other also. Now that I'm a big boy I've finally decided I prefer this way. I think I'm in the minority though.

Yep, I know it shows up every year and each year I dislike it even more.

I ~think~ this is the first year I have had a definitive preference. I have been thinking about it a couple weeks and was going to make a thread and link a few previous years. I know I post most years, but I think I am always indifferent with the desire to keep it either way. I for sure prefer this now though. It has nothing to do with work schedule which sucks either way. My Good Dane and I like to go for walkie-talkies and daybreak is better for a number of reasons versus walking in the dark.

Well, I've heard of it but never lived anywhere that had such a thing.

I have been anxiously awaiting this day.

The clock in my truck is correct again.
