Unique, but still pugly!
Orders for them are not exactly pouring in either...

Mainly a few fanboys & rich want them & even that group has issues buying them.
Like Anything built under Truck label has way different rules on buying because most expect to haul/tow & people have already seen the disaster w/ Ford w/ Electric F150 & others.

Side Note: Tesla Truck w/ broken glass during that old video is just "windshield" glass for side windows. Even that is Not a New idea. Olds I believe had that on some models Decades ago but cost way more & "Safety Glass" started on most cars & easily to handle to make & own a car w/ that.
If you search YT likely find old film clips showing about same thing w/ window smash but thing didn't go thru on 1930 to 1950 car. I've seen them but not wasting time to search for a link.

Honestly, the hype about this vehicle has gone on and on and on for 4 years and it's already old news. I don't think many people will buy it.

I think that A) It is ugly as sin, and B) A pickup is used to haul stuff, and also to tow....Start towing something and the range is going to be under 100 miles. If we had done it right, we would now have batteries that are light, can hold a big charge, and take up less room.

The E-Vette weighs over 3700 lbs....that is total insanity.

It's uglier than a sack of d!cks. But at least it's expensive and impractical.

WTH was Elon thinking?
Jake_Dragon DEC 02, 04:09 PM

Out of ideas.

The problem with Elon the "great" is that he has become extremely arrogant- He wants everyone around him to state "Wow! You are a Genius, boss!"

This is a typical POSITIVE-feedback system- they always spin out of control. The only way a system works properly is with NEGATIVE feedback- you need the people around you to be willing to say "Hey, boss- I think this idea might not work"

All the Cybertruck needs is a flux capacitor.
