How to find the value of a watch. (Page 1/1)
BingB DEC 28, 06:57 PM
I don't know anything about watches. Earlier this year my brother-in-law died and he had a several watches. My sister gave me one for Christmas. I know it is not worth a lot because he was not wealthy enough to buy that many expensive watches, but I would like to get some idea of its value.

It is a Charmex chronograph. Stainless steel case. Five ATMs water "resistant". Sapphire crystal. It has "S 2791" stamped on the back case, but apparently that is meaningless.

If I take off the back will I find a model number?

Now listen, when talking about the value of portable timing devices mounted on wrists, you guys should really just watch it!

If you really want to know the value of a watch, just be late to the restaurant to meet your wife.

Found it. Charmex CH1873

It's a very nice looking watch. I like the "date hand" that marks the day of the month. Very interesting.

That is it. Thanks man. Now I have another question. Using what you found it led me to this

So is "Windsor" the name of this specific model, or is that a type of watch?

Thanks again for the help.

Judging from This page, it's a particular Collection (style), not the Model.
