To all you fuzzy-wuzzles out there and your "significant others". Hope you have a nice, 'normal' evening (whatever your "normal" is...).

My "significant other" these days is a cat (and I love her)... but thanks for the well wishes.

As Young Sheldon's older brother said.. "This is Texas. We believe in God and football and beef...beef's up there too." I splurged and bought 2 packs even tho they weren't really the best I ever saw but they were almost sold out. Persnally, I'm a flatiron or top sirloin type guy but Jane loves a good ribeye.

Just saw an article on a couple in Danville, CA....After being married for 47 years, the husband passed away in 2017....every Valentine's day since then, flowers have been delivered to his widow- he planned this and set in place before dying....
That is how a good (maybe Great) relationship should be!
Back in 1994 I was in a relationship with a Thai lady....We planned to do something for V-day....My buddy had called from Sacramento- there was a Boat & RV show going on that weekend. I asked him if we could stay at his house Saturday night.
Then I went to the bookstore and scanned a book on Bed & Breakfast locations in N. CA...found one up in Grass Valley....
Jitra arrived sat' morning and brought her clothes bag in- then headed for the bathroom- I told her I was going to put her bag in the bedroom....as soon as the door closed I grabbed her keys and ran her bag out- placed it in her trunk, then back and grabbed two sleeping bags and my bag and put them in the trunk- ran back in and as soon as she came out grabbed her and said "Let's go- we have to get up to Sacto!"
Went to Boat & RV show- then had dinner- when we got back to my friend's house I asked Jitra to come help me- opened the trunk and handed her her bag- 'We are staying here tonight!" First surprise....
Next morning, my buddy took us to breakfast at Denny's...after, I told Jitra "We have some time- let's go check out a couple of small lakes" We drove around and walked the shore of two lakes. Then I mentioned that some friends of my father lived near there- called them and they invited us to stop by for a visit....after a few hours I told Jitra to get dressed up nice- then told her we were going to the National Hotel in Nevada City for dinner...(My mom and dad used to go there back before I came along and...ruined their fun!)
On the way, I stopped and Jitra asked, "Why are we stopping here?" "Oh- this is where we are staying tonight- I have to pay for the reservation I made"
I surprised her a number of times on this trip- not "Surprise- we're going to the Tractor pulls!!" but surprising her with things she would enjoy...She loved the outdoors, and was fascinated by the RVs at the show...and was touched by going to dinner at the same location as my parents back 40 years earlier.

Not just any raw red beef. Two Prime grade 1 1/2" ribeyes, shaped to fit in a heart shaped package. (I believe Canada uses a grading system a little different than that of the USA where Canada uses A, AA, AAA to the equivalent of USDA's Standard, Select, and Choice but both countries give the best a Prime grade.)
