All our local Chevy dealers in Canada got an allotment of these cars shipped to them to sell.
Quite a few of them roamed the streets in the day.

I was going to comment about about it more likely being a moose (or parts of) in the trunk of a car in Canada... and then I came across this video. The New York accent voice-over is hilarious, but definitely NSFW!

Haha... that's a whole other story. The Crown Victoria was a VERY popular car in Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, etc. They sold over 300k of them in the middle east!
