In https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FVBKs7cDGY an ad in the back of Car and Driver magazine (May 2024) an ad says Pontiac is "back." No its not april fools, The guy in the video seems to think Pontiac may actually be coming back in some form.
Just as Chevy goes all SUV/Electric.

I've seen this in other forums as well. If you (GM) wanted to make a splash, what better way to do it...IF and only IF it were done right. GM history should give you pause on that point.

Don't hate me for asking, but was there ever a Pontiac SUV?
That is all they want to make anymore, but I guess that is because that is what everyone is buying.

GM has bought & transformed many great companies and products and turned them into "Government Motors". The Aztec was atrocious and one of the well _____.
I'm glad I can say I've owned a few Pontiacs, but I am no longer a customer of GM. They are not producing what the customer wants, at least not this one!

You ain't gonna believe this- but the guy who styled the Aztec was the guy selected to style the C7 and C8 vettes (No wonder they look nothing like real Vettes)
Maybe a slight change of the name and we could start an independent car company.....

If it's the same video I saw, I believe that GM is NOT behind the ad.
Edit - Different video. Same story.
C&D has pulled this same gag before. (APRIL FOOLS!  ) Always with a disclaimer.
It's getting old, really.
I'll believe Pontiac is back when I can go and buy a new one. And that's assuming that they actually build something that I like, and can afford. GM certainly isn't doing that now.
