I've always loved the hauntingly beautiful sounds of the mellotron... and liked very much as well, the late Greg Lake's fine vocals. Great band from a time long ago...

This the only pic I have of my buddies 65' Chevelle from back in our strip days.
He was a big fan of King Crimson and although it's hard to make out in this pic, he called his Chevelle....Crimson King. Also hard to tell from the pic, but it was painted candy apple red.
Was a nice machine...built 327 5:38 gears in the back...a "screamer"!
HAGO!

If any of you are big fans of Les Claypool (Primus) then you might have heard some King Crimson tunes like "Thela Hun Ginjeet" or "Court of the Crimson King"

I remember reading about this tour, but forgot that Fripp wasn't going to be with them.
Atlanta? Jeez... Edit - Of course it's sold out. Have fun, man!
(FWIW, I've been on a big ELP kick for the last couple of years. Of course King Crimson played into that.)[This message has been edited by Raydar (edited 08-17-2024).]

Yup, Discipline & Beat. I think Discipline was the better of the two but still good stuff. Bought these new when they came out. These and a live Bowie album "Stage" made me aware of Adrian Belew. The live version of "Station To Station" w/ Belew is awesome.

That was pretty good. There's still hope for today's youth.
