I'll start things off with these two...

Here is something that I got in my subscriptions this morning.
Timur is the former bass player and Yuli is a current fiddle player for Otava Yo.

I don't really know anything about the song, but it was a recommendation from Yuli's channel: https://www.youtube.com/@julus1999999

My favorite band is Queen- not so much about Freddie- I am a guitarist so Brain May was the main reason (Also Roger Taylor, the drummer)

But some of the >>Queen<< songs by Freddie are just amazing....case in point, Nevermore;

I don't know if the word for me would be hauntingly beautiful... cause there's a lot of baroque and classical music that touches you differently...

But, there's one song that always gets you thinking deep... Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkle...

... and then probably What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong

Here is a song that a few might remember from 1970. It probably never got any airplay on any of the Pop/Top 40 stations.

There was an interesting "underground radio" station here back then that would play literally anything and everything, no rules.

I had never heard of Linda Perhacs before. I found this interview of her from ten years ago. A very interesting woman!

Simon and Garfunkel did a lot of great songs. "America" might be my favorite.

Or maybe "The Boxer".

And a Leonard Cohen song that certainly fits the bill:

Another song that I first heard on the same radio station that played Linda Perhacs, Merle Haggard, David Bromberg and Dr John.

Okay, I fully expect that my contribution to this thread will draw some snickers... but I've always felt that this song from 1961 by Elvis is "hauntingly beautiful", with emphasis on the hauntingly.

Elvis's voice was in its usual fine form, but what really sets this song apart is the understated gentle guitar work of Scotty Moore, the very pronounced bass line by Bob Moore, and the exquisite background vocals of the Jordanaires.
