That's wild. My grandfather used to have one originally that was around that model year. His was a 1989, a burgundy LTD, which has a slightly revised grill and tail lights. He got rid of it in like... 1998 with 70k miles on it. I remember my grandmother used to drive it, and she'd floor it everywhere she went. It had the 5.0L Mustang V8 in it.
The had a Saturn and a Grand Plymouth Voyager for a little while, got rid of both when my grandmother could no longer drive, and my grandfather got the 2002 LX that I have now.

Converted into a mud bogger with a Chevy chassis and drivetrain
This is common way of making 4x4 conversions. I tried to buy a 72 Pinto sitting on a 4x4 chassis but the guy sold it on me.

I'd drive it......everywhere! I've seen Camaros on Blazer/Bronco frames with big lifts and tires. Cool but I'd hate to do that to any pony car.

I have a buddy with a Chevy Citation X/11 that's been put on an old Chevy Blazer frame... you really have to climb up to get into the seats... but it's crazy looking.
