Thank you again Songman for organizing this great event. We look forward to this gathering of one off cars (and people) each year. Even though we did not bring a Fiero this year, we would not have missed seeing you and your family. We hope there will be a next year so we can drive two Fieros down.

Have fun everyone!

If I had read this before I left you could have jumped a ride with me.
Great Job Dale and family for making another great event for us.

I would like to thsnk Dale and family for a fun event. Not alot
of numbers, but was still great. So I got 3 days of coast driving
in for the event. Driving down from Montery to San Semion on hwy1,
the drive for the event the next day, and driving home on Sunday.
The Sunday drive was really nice as I left before 8AM and was
able to have no stinking slow van drivers in front of me and there
were a total of 3 cars that I passed the whole way. No other
traffic the whole way (wahooo). Looking forward to doing it again
next year. By the way I found my tie-died shirt when I got home
from the event (darn it).

I never noticed that the turn out was low. All that I saw was a good gathering of great people and a fun drive. Our camera was not working well and we did not get a lot of photos. We did get a good photo of the self-centered Dodge Caravan who disregarded their legal obligation to pull over. This "A" Hole was going 20MPH with a train of cars behind him.

We are looking forward to next years Coast Run. No minivan for us next year. Both kids will be big enough to ride in a Fiero. We will bring two or three Fieros next year.

So, what is next years dinner theme going to be?

Thanks ya'll. It is always a pleasure to see that everyone enjoys this event. So I guess maybe we can try it again for #9!

I added the photos that are on this page to the other Coast Run thread in the General section. Figured we could put them over there so the most people could see them and maybe get a few more people interested for next year.

I know there are more pictures out there... Who has them? Mine will be posted tomorrow. I finally found the camera!
