CFOG-International has our first member in Mexico, Carlos Macouzet! He is also the director for the region (I hear there are many Fieros in Mexico). The Southeast US regional director position has been filled, and the Western Canada director position has been filled. We are closing in on the 100 member mark. You can see the growth in our website, www.cfog-i.org. I'm not into bragging. This is meant to inform the casual observer that much has taken place since we started this organization last Fall. We have been operating on a ghastly budget, giving every possible discount and incentive for membership. We want to bring you in and show you that our desire, our promise, is to meet and exceed your expectations of what a large club should be and could be. We're communicating, and we're doing what we say we will do. The first annual memberships will come up for renewal when summer ends, and we intend to give those people good reason for staying. Their renewals, plus continued growth with new members, will help to make some of our goals possible. And everything we get goes into those goals; remember we're non-profit, and believe me, much has been sacrificed to make this happen. But we're doing it for you, because we are you... we're just Fiero owners wanting a consolidated effort to make what can be into a reality.
Some of you have no desire to join. Others are waiting to see how it goes. I invite you to take another look and see if it's going as well as you hoped. If you wish to wait a little longer, that's okay. We'll be here.
