Mid America Fieros will host its annual Kentucky Lake Cruise on Saturday, September 24, 2016, along with Southern Indiana Fieros. (www.midamericafieros.com)

As of right now, our tentative plans are as follows:
We will meet at the Calvert Drive in around 6:30 on Friday, September 23 to greet our out of town visitors. As of right now, the movie schedule is not up for that date, but we seem to talk through most of the movie anyway! Good food available at the grill, but come early!

On Saturday morning, we may have an early bird event to attend in Downtown Paducah, Coffee & Cars, which is an informal cruise in. Details will be posted later on the web page.

Around 11:30 we will depart from the Kentucky Dam, Gilbertsville, Kentucky (bike trail parking lot on top of the dam) on our cruise and tour the Kentucky Lake and Land Between the Lakes area in western Kentucky, stopping for lunch around 12:30 or 1:00, and here and there for photo opportunities.

Saturday afternoon around 4:00, we will join up with the Benton Cruise In, which attracts every kind of vehicle you can imagine, and lots of food, fun, and door prizes. This is their final cruise in of the year and this will be our third year to participate.

For night owls and anyone who has any energy left, Beacon Dragway in Paducah is having “West Kentucky Street Car Madness” which I believe is an open event, so if you want to run your car down the track, this may be your chance (www.beacondragway.com). We are looking into the details some more.

We’d love to have you for all or part of the festivities. There is no fee to join up with the cruise (including the Benton cruise in portion), so the only cost of attending the movie and lunch, or race night admission.

All Fieros are welcome, regardless of appearance. This is a FUN day intended to be stress free without dealing with competition. RSVP isn't required, but appreciated, as it will assist with last minute details. We don't have a "host" hotel, but most people have been staying in the Calvert City, Kentucky area, close to the drive in, and there are numerous hotels in Paducah, Kentucky.

As we continue with finalizing the plans, check www.midamericafieros.com for updates and contact information. Please feel free to share this information. Hope to see you in September!!
