You know, I've let this go over and over, and I'm personally getting pretty sick of it. Archie, just how many Fiero owners do you think have $5k laying around to bet? Not that many, I'd imagine. It's real easy to buy your way out of a challenge when you know you've got more liquid assets than most people here.
If everyone really wants to put this debate to bed (rather than continue this particular pissing contest), why not make it $250 and a public acknowledgment of the other guy's engine's superiority?
I'm not very impressed with the numbers that I've seen from most, if not all, SBC Fieros. Where the fault lies, I don't know. I'm sure the SBC Fieros are plenty fast (and fun to drive), but there is a lot of room for improvement (from what I've seen).[This message has been edited by FieroJimmy (edited 03-13-2008).]

Maybe that's what he should have said - but he didn't. His mouth has a long history of writing checks neither he nor his car can cash.
