The Guardian reporter went to the hospital. No hospital required injuries reported, but this was a just in case scenario. He may have a bruised perineum?

Dude went to the hospital for a subdermal hematoma. Bwahahahaha!

Well yes, Politicians should not have to put up with questions they don't like. Assault and battery is the only logical response. I'm not sure why the charge was only assault. I thought that the assault part was a threat and that battery was carrying out the threat but I'm not a lawyer and I've never stayed at a Holliday Inn.

I love you are all ignoring the fact that the candidate was charged with misdemeanor assault.

You are litterelly advocating violence at a reporter asking a question, simply because you disagree with him.

He is charged, not guilty.

I get to comment just how I choose. Not you. Not the media.

I litterelly (?) have not advocated violence against a reporter asking a question, simply because I do not agree with him. You literally made this up. If I am cracking a joke, and you do not understand the sarcasm, then as always, it is not me that understands my own words, it is you misunderstanding them.

For ****s sake man, is there anything you do understand? You are in a classroom full of children, and post this crap while at work, on break, or generally being paid for a job that you are not doing. You are a teacher and need to be held to higher standards. I am not a paid teacher, and am required so much by so many leftists here it is mind bending. You preach to us without any inner worth. Disgusting to say the least.

Edit: Disclaimer, because leftists...

If he is found guilty, then by all means sentence him accordingly. I have never advocated otherwise. I dislike criminals. His is a misdemeanor. I have seen much worse without you offering an opinion. Bike lock boy comes to mind. No dislike there from your end?

Well, It probably was better than having a duel like Burr and Hamilton did.

Letter behind his name makes everything ok. Partisan sheep.

I'm not ignoring anything, advocating anything or disagreeing with anything.

I simply asked questions......

"What, no video?
That would be icing on the cake!

I wonder if the Guardian reporter will have a bit more restraint in his approach to interviews in the future?

Do you suppose the candidate used to be a wrestler?"

So "all" in your statement is not appropriate.
And you mis-spelled 'literally'.......

I'll just leave this here for the people denying that this happened as reported. I don't think you guys would be saying the same stuff if it was a Democrat that had done it. The reporter tried to ask him a question, when he said later, the reporter asked again just to try to get a response (a common reporter tactic), and the politician put his hands on him and assaulted him, period. This is according to the FOX NEWS reporters who were eyewitnesses.

**EDIT** The eyewitnesses claimed the reporter did nothing physical to invite the action, and they also reported that Gianforte was punching the reporter on the ground. Just want to make sure that part was observed.

There is sickness on both sides of the isle, but you ****ing democrats are a new kind of low.

Larry Craig and Mark Foley were both Republicans. Lest we also forget Strom Thurmond, who got his family's teenage housekeeper pregnant.
Maybe Denny Hastert will refresh your memory?

Care to try again? Or maybe ust get off the R vs D bandwagon, and being so belligerent as you seem to love being?

I am not denying it happened. I am waiting on the courts to apply judgement.

I am also reading that the reporter was continually punched. I can believe this, but the media outlets seem to leave out info, and as it materializes, ie. what you posted, I need to reflect that in my posts accordingly. No, I am not going back and editting all like dobey wants/needs/desires, but at the moment, I still need to wait on the courts findings before I can do anything other than comment on an internet forum with speculation. I admit to this. This admission does not spin the World on a new axis. It is only my writings.
