I bought the fiero cause it was the coolest car for under $2,000. And it is under $2,000 for a reason. The $20,000 rx7s or $12,000 300zxs or $30,000 850's or $15,000 dollar corvettes or the $45,000 NSXs or the $60,000 vipers or the $11,000 mr2s are priced for a reason......they are a tiny bit better then the fiero. but the fiero is by far the best thing I could have found for UNDER $2,000 .....thats why I like it......cheap looks decent drives well.....if I really hated it I wouldn't be on here looking at other fieros seeing if I can make a 50 dollar investment and make my car look $3000 no under $2000........so peace.....I don't hate the fiero.....I like it......I would just want something else.....
and the bottom line is ALL of you want something else......MONEY is a huge issue why you drive a FIERO........msot of you are now going to start bashing me ( like I really care ?) saying thats not true......but face it......you don't got the $ to drive what you really want.

I can afford a brand new Vette. But why would I want an overrated and overpriced car like that? My V8 Fiero is 1 for 2 racing against a C4 Vette which cost 10 times more than my Fiero. I also own several other cars and trucks which are just what I want to own. I drive a fully loaded 98 Grand Prix GT back and forth to work. But, I still love my Fiero. So what's your point? ------------------

It isn't that most of us can't afford something more expensive then a fiero, it's that most of us are adults have have mortgage, rent, utilities, cable, etc.. and choose to invest the money we save by having a fiero into a 401k or whatever. To put it simply, once you leave the security of living at home you face a whole different world. Than all the sudden your car payment isn't the most important thing on your mind. I'm not trying to bash you, I'm just pointing out that most people have fieros because they are cheap performance. Sure there are a lot faster cars on the roads, but the people on the forum are happy with our cars. If you don't want people to start bashing you again, my advice is not too bash on the people on here and their cars. Just something to think about.

Actually you pathetic excuse for a moron. My mother said I could have any car I wanted up to 8 grand for my graduation. Guess what I picked. 86 Fiero GT, 1500 Bucks. I'm going to drop about another 3000 dollars in it and make any stock 300zx non turbo and any stock RX7 look like a dog. I could have bought a 300 ZX or even a dog of an RX7,(newer RX7's aren't cheap) but the fiero has better looks in my opinion so before you talk about all of us go $#^% yourself first and then consult us.
Too bad mom blew up the engine, Now dad is putting a 3800 s/c engine in it. I guess the fiero sucks now doesn't it dud. I hate my life now
