But my point is, 13.9 in the 1/4 from an auto 4.9? 13's are what auto northstars run... how.....what....eh? Doesn't even have a timeslip. I'm greatly confused.

I'm skeptical, I'd ask for a time slip for sure.

Not saying it can't be done, just not many have a high 13 running a caddy auto.

That was my car. I ran a 13.89 with it. I don't have any proof. If you don't believe me I really don't care.

It is a completely stock drivetrain. 13.89 was the average of 4 G-tech runs, two in each direction on a straight stretch of PA route 100. This is the same G-tech and same stretch of road where I ran a best of 13.4 in my modded 4.9 that consistently ran 13.3 at the drag strip. Believe it or not, I really don't care either way.

While I think the gtech is good for getting estimates of 1/4 mile times, I've seen examples of it being a bit off, even when everything is done right... Don't take this personally or anything (it seems you are... I don't have anything against you/4.9s/whatever). I hope the next owner takes it to the track, but at the same time, If I were a buyer, and it was advertised as a 13.9 second car, and it ran solid 14.3's, I'd be disappointed. I might even bring the car back... I wouldn't wish that upon anybody, I've had it happen.

Hmmm 13.9 and 14.1 were not that far off. yes my 4.9 auto is stock and runs 14.1 and I have the slips to back it up. Of course I expect to be even faster saturday night but not fast enough for jon or becky.
