Too funny for words. Apparently Palestinians have been calling US voters encouraging them to support Osama in the next election. Ahmed Yousef, leader of the Hamas group, has also thrown their support behind the democratic candidate.

Wasn't he the one being supported (to much complaining from him, lol!) by one of the Islamic-extremist leaders here in the US?
Iirc, this was a "good" friend of his former pastor as well...Go figure.
How can people be so completely BLIND to still support this jerk?

It's called Obama-aid. Its chalk full of good things like hope and change. And just like coke zero has no calories Obama has no real hope or change to offer. Buy a 6 pack and share the cult of personality with friends. Remember not voting for the black guy makes you a racist![This message has been edited by Phranc (edited 05-13-2008).]

The attacks reportedly killed six people and wounded dozens more. In justifying the pardons, President Clinton noted none of the men had been convicted of crimes that resulted in death or injuries.

And some wonder why I see "former" President Clinton in a less than complimentary manner.
Back on topic, if you want a socialist in the White House, vote for either of the leading Dems. The way I see this election, we have two Socialist candidates and one mid-range liberal. I always vote, I just don't care for my choices this election. Senator McCain is head and shoulders above the other candidates but way to Liberal in my mind.

John McCain's choice to manage the GOP convention this summer is lobbyist Doug Goodyear, whose firm once represented Burma's repressive regime. [snip] Ironically, Goodyear was chosen for the post after the McCain campaign nixed another candidate, Paul Manafort, who runs a lobbying firm with McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis. The prospect of choosing Manafort created anxiety in the campaign because of his long history of representing controversial foreign clients, including Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos. More recently, he served as chief political consultant to Viktor Yanukovich, the former Ukrainian prime minister who has been widely criticized for alleged corruption and for his close ties to Russia's Vladimir Putin—a potential embarrassment for McCain, who in 2007 called Putin a "totalitarian dictator." "The Ukrainian stuff was viewed as too much," says one McCain strategist, who asked not to be identified discussing the matter. Manafort did not return calls for comment.
