I have a little problem. I know my car is only a 4 cyl. but I like the big tires on the rear. When I bought the car it came with these mags on it. They are 16 inch made by 'SIMMONS', that's all I know about them. Has anyone ever heard of 'Fiero Fender Flares'.

don't know width of your wheel or back space. i have 255/50-16's on the back of mine on 16x7.5 wheels. i will eventualy need to change to coil overs but i don't think flares are needed. the wheel wells just look realy full.

I am looking for fender flares that are like the ones found on Bronco's or Jimmy's, you know those simple black pieces or ruber that can be added easily.

Those fender flares look bad even on 4X4s. I can't imagine putting them on a Fiero, but to each his own.

I know they don't look all that great, but Maybe they wouldn't look all that bad. Anyone happen to have a Fiero with these on. I think I will stop by the scrap yard and see if I can find any flares off a different vehicle. They shouldn't be that hard to fit onto the Fiero in a way that it would look good. My tires only stick out about 1 1/2 inches so the flare really would not be that large. I would like to keep this large tire setup because I do plan on swaping the Duke in the future. I think these monsters may come in handy.

Formula--I've had that pic longer than I've had the Grape Ape and I never thought about the paint comparison. The more I look at it, the more I think that it's probably the exact duplicate of my paint. (The shade may be off by a touch.) If you look at the lower right corner (as you would be facing the car), you can see that the paint is a different color. Must be a pearlized paint. Thanx for making me notice.

Spike, I would seriously think about what you are about to do to your Fiero. I realize that everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but you have no idea how many toes you are about to step on. I had a 67 Bronco with the fender flares you are talking about. It looked good. To even consider putting those flares on a Fiero is an outright sin; unless of course you plan on cruising the swamp lands of Louisiana or perhaps the Florida everglades. Please consider an IMSA style makeover first.

Late, BAM OUT!

P.S. Just my opinion

Do you see what I am talking about?

Real cheap fix... find some of those treads that come off of semi trucks. They are relatively easy to find and they are FREE! Trim them to fit and sheet metal screw them to the wheelwells. For a custom "glassed-in" look, you can caulk it with bath tub caulking. I say go for it, opinions be damned! It's your car, and you'll probably never want to sell it anyway!
