Man.. That response was kind of rude. (At least it came across that way). I just thought you might have gave it some test runs.

I have completed the 3.4 install and this was the speed results. Just purchased the G-Tech computer and I will post when they are completed. But for now.

I also own a 99 Grand Prix GTP with Super Charger. From a stand Still moving from 0-105mph, the Grand Prix could never catch me.

My friend has a 98 Mustang GT. He could keep up but not pass. Remember that the mustang only has about 230HP stock but is in a metal casing and weights about 4200 lbs to my 2500 in the GT.

That doesn't sound half bad. Is this a basic stock 3.4? Maybe I should just go that way.

If its a stock 3.4 you probably will get 0-60 in 6.2 seconds and the 1/4-mile in 14.5 with a 2925 lb. fiero including the driver. I got this with Dragstrip2000.

I'm nearing my 500 mile oil change. I've had a chance to put the engine through it's paces (reasonable of course). GREAT performance, especially in torque. Engine pulls hard, even noticeable when the cruise kicks back in. Pulled away from some friends 2.8 Fieros on the highway very easily. I'm running 92 octane premium. Gas mileage is about even with the 2.8L on the highway, hard to judge in the city. I expect power/mileage to improve as the engine loosens up some more.

The FOCOA headers and BORLA exhaust look and sound great!! Quiet when idling - but you can hear it means business when you open it up! The "stock look" may be a disappointment to some, even the headers don't "jump out at you". I think even a GM Dealer wouldn't realize the engine is not a stock 2.8 until he drives it.

Would I do it again? YOU BET! Some changes though. Standard 3.4 injectors should be plenty. I find the 3.4 DOHC injectors run abit rich at over 35lbs fuel pressure. The V8 fuel pump is probably unnecessary unless you plan to run NOS and will need the extra fuel capacity in the future. You'd need J&E forged pistons in that application as well.

Looks like my 87 GT. The red/grey scheme was the nicest combination. Now I look forward to when my 88 will be home. But it's almost time to take the cars off the road. for the winter. The car looks great, keep us informed of the performance as the engine gets broken in. I'm glad to hear the milage is about the same vs the stock 2.8.
