Hey guys, I really need your help...I went to the section with all the pictures and I saw a fiero with a sub mounted in the center console...today I went out and bought a 10"sub and an amp...hoping to put it in the center console...I pulled it off and there is a computer right behind the console...so there's not much room for a sub...whoever put that picture up could u please tell me how u managed to mount it? Thx...and any other suggestions on this mounting would be great!

Move the computer behind the drivers seat. The magnet may corrupt the PROM.

Before you return that 10, you may want to think about making an enclosure that fits down in the footwell of the passnger side. I made my enclosure out of fiberglass and plywood for less then $30. The passenger still has as much footroom as the driver with this set up. You do need to use a high quality woofer with this as the enclosure is <.5 cu ft.

Lots of interest in my ex-Fiero's console sub lately. That was an 8" sub in a custom made box (no I didn't make it). You have to pick a sub that can be used in a real small box. In one of the other threads, there is a pic of a custom made box behind the passenger seat with a 10" sub mounted in it. There's another possibility. Elenor, what sub and amp did you get?

Sorry, I didn't make the box, I don't have any plans for it, and I don't even own it anymore either.
