That's probably a good idea, you set the rules for this thread with your answers to people who were trying to help you on page one. It would be reasonable for you to follow the same rules that you've made everybody else follow.
BTW, just as you have made an informed decision as to whom you will not buy a kit from, I made an informed desision a long time ago of whom I will not knowingly sell a V-8 kit to.
I will keep following this thread to see if High Tech D ever posts any info to it.
Peace
Archie

Still waiting for the feedback from HTD where they have,
"Once we recieved the kit, we realized there were a numbrer of errors that needed to be corrected, so we made the necessary adjustments to improve the kit. "
So far all we have seen is a transaxle mount, which hasn't seemed to be an issue.
By leaving this tread die without showing the changes / improvements, we will still doubt them, and the HTD kit will go down with its present reputation.
How long ago was these improvements made? It must have been in the past year. If not, then no improvements were ever made.

I'm considering a V8 swap and I actually dropped by and checked out HTD..
They're a medium sized automotive/machine shop and the Fiero business is a sideline. The proprietor and a couple of employees are Fiero owners.
I haven't checked with the better business bureau yet, but as it comes down to the crunch, I probably will.
The owner definitely knows his Fieros.. They do complete frame off resorations (Sandblasting, repairing and epoxy coating the metal frame). They also do most of their own fabrication.
Here is a picture of an HTD V8 installation... Seems OK.. Once the motor is mounted.. what *can* go wrong ??
i spoke with james givens at the car show in toronto ..about his new frame and engine kits for about an hr ...seemed to know his cars but none of cars at show ran i don't think and same white lambo been for 3 yrs ...i have flyers and some paper work from the car show
