On the back 2 corners on the bottom of the glass you should have round disks about 1" diameter with velcro-like stuff on them.

On the non-cloth (black) side of the sunroof shade you should also have disks with velco-like stuff on them. The back side will have the cutout in it to fit the sunroof latch. The shade goes in under the glass.

I haven't actually put one on in a while but from memory, slide the shade in from back to front when inside the car and up so the disks on the shade catch the disks on the glass.

Thanks
Thats about what did, just did not attach the disks to the glass, seems the shade is well supported between the glass and roof.
Thanks again

With the sunroof closed the sunshade is pretty secure......those velcro pads are there to hold it in place if you want to open the sunroof while the shade is installed.

The sunroof handles on Fieros that originally came with the shade ('87-'88 and maybe '86) have a ledge that the cutout on the shade rests on (if that makes sense).

I always install mine with the glass in place, but the latch unlatched, but I'm sure there's more than one way to do it.
