in city I get around 21
on the hwy average @ 70-75MPH I get around 26mpg. I would expect about 28 or 29 @ 55 on the hwy.
I have the 2.8 with an izusu 5 speed. At 80mph I am at 3000rpm

1985 GT 4 spd 2.8 Turbo. I just figured mine, and I do a lot of highway driving. I am getting around 30 miles per gallon.

My last successful trip last Wed. netted 31.9 mpg cruising at 63 to 65 mph with occasional periods at 70 mph. That was with a passenger.

86 2M4 2.5L 4 cylinder with auto/ trans.

well my 86GT 4 speed still gets 15MPG city and 24MPG highway. im still hoping when i put the isuzu in it will make the gas milage better.

my 87GT 3.4L getrag is still too early to tell its milage as its running way to lean.

I think I've got a 3.1 in my 87GT 5spd. I run the HELL out of it.......ALWAYS......and
get 20mpg. Haven't really done any long distance driving with it, but I suspect about 25 or better.

City and Highway combine I get about 23 mpg constantly.

I run a Caddy Northstar/Getrag and get 25 mpg hwy, about 22 city. but I run it hard.

88 2.5 with 5 speed. In the winter my milage drops to the mid 20's. In the summer city/highway combo is in the low to mid 30's.

I get 22 city and 30 Hwy. This is in my 86 GT 2.8

My car runs at about 3300 Rpms at 70 mph, what transmission do I have?

My Fiero (Formula) gets about 20 mpg on the freeway, (it's all messed up right now)

My cutlass supreme intl ON THE FREEWAY gets 30+ miles per gallon. 2.8 with a hyperchip 180 degree thermostat, Borla , K&N and a final drive ratio of 297 (rather than the 333 it came with)

What about you guys with TPI V8's I am putting in a 355 with TPI and was curious what kind of mileage to expect???

88 GT auto: 31-32 HWY (70mph) 25 otherwise
85 2M6 4 Speed 30 -31 HWY 22 town
86 2M4 5 speed 34-38 Hwy 28 town

Mitigating circumstances: I drive fairly conservatively (except cornering!) and "town" in Central Wisconsin is mostly small roads with several stretches of 55mph curvy bendy stuff. Lotsa fun in the Fieros, actually.
