I'll be changing my EGR this weekend, and since I've never changed one on a Fiero before.... ...

These are rusted pretty good and I have a feeling they will snap off when I try to get them off....is this a bolt or is it a nut on some type of stud bolt? In other words what will I have to tap out if it breaks.....?

Thanks,
Michael

The EGR is held on by two studs with nuts. If you use a good penetrating or such as PB blaster or Kroil and let it soak overnight, you should be able to break them free. I used a box end wrench and a soft faced mallet to shock the nuts free.
