Well shame on me for thinking I should have ordered ALL new parts from GMpartsdirect. Basically, good thing I only ordered the knock sensor and ESC module.

I made a big discovery for us cheap bastards this morning while cleaning out a parts bin. Don't spend $20 for a darn ESC connector!! Chances are that you already have one. Well most of us have parts cars, not all, but the ones that done usually have access to one, lol.

Well heres the thing, the cruise control connector is the SAME PART# as the ESC module connector. Simply find your nearest parts car, cut off the cruise connector with a decent supply of wire, and tada!! saves your $20.

Happy DIYing...

well thats good news. I'm ditching my cruise control assembly this weekend, and have been looking at putting in the knock sensor stuff, as I slowly collect stuff to turbocharge. +'s 4 u!
