All verry interesting.
Down Under we are metric and my 86 has an MPH (85) only speedo which is a bit of a pain. (Officer - I was only doing 60!!... - our local limit is 60kph). If after all of these changes, anyone has a 140kph standard speedo face they don't want, we may be able to organise something. It would be really appreciated.

I would love to get a 240 km/h speedo. I have an 84 SE with an LT1 that I think will be lacking with the stock Speedo.

Haven't been on the Forum for a while, and have only now noticed this thread. This is just what I have been looking for. Count on me to buy one when they are ready. I bought my '88GT from the US, so I have been looking to change to a km/h speedo.

Any update on availability?

Wow, my first thread to make two pages!

Unfortunately, I'm still working on it (slowly). Things keep popping up. My car alarm is on the fritz, I keep putting off changing my rear wheel bearing that's starting to make more noise, and there's possibly something lose in the suspension that I have to look at. And I've gotten an annoying cold to make matters worse.

Anyway, I promise I'll try my best to get this done soon. And I'll keep you guys posted of any headway.

Cheers,

Kris

KrisDuck --- You have been working on this for the last 8 months. I guess that we can safely write you off as a big talker.

Well, I can understand the annoyance. I'm more annoyed than any of you guys.
Things happen sometimes. Lot of things. All the time.

Anyway, this will be done by the end of this summer, if anyone is still interested.

Sorry it's taken so long. It's kind of a back burner thing, since trying to keep my car actually running is more important.
After I thought I had everything under control, some idiot decided to make an illegal U-turn right in front of me, so there's more stuff I have to fix.

I'm not making excuses, just explaining the details.
