This is a parts car and I want to put the aero nose on another fiero. In the first picture you can see the concave curve in the top of the nose.

Is this normal? And if not, how does one fix it?

This second picture isn't quite as clear.

The parts in the "mouth" of the nose are also sagging. It doesn't look sharp and I'd like to hear some ideas for how to solve it. Thanks guys.

I know there is a place in the orlando area that reconditions the nose for about $200 or so. Another club member has had one done and it looks sweet. I d not know the name of the place but call around to body shops in your area, heck even the dealers, and find out who Reconditions plastic panels.

Mine did that because the support underneath was loose, I bolted it back in place and it looks 99% better.

I really dont know how easily you can get to some of these tools but and easy way to fix is:

A peice of .040 thick aluminum 1" wide by the length of the area needing help, and bend it 90 degrees 1/2 X 1/2. The use a shrinker/stretcher and work it until the shape is right, and rivet it on. It would take about 15 minutes total to do the mouth and the upper part of the nose if the nose was off the car.

More than likely you dont have access to this stuff though, but to be helpful, I felt I had to throw the idea to the public.

thanks

look whether the rubber honeycomb support is there...

You could fab an aluminium support to correct the sagging nose but it might be easier to get another one...

Dittos on the nose...same here...it stems from heat disapating after shut down from the radiator.Over time the soft nose sags. As said some thin aluminum would beef up that area and reflect that heat energy...but its not a ten minute fix.

My Front facia also does this and my idea was to take it off the car (already done - parts car) turn it upside down and take the heat-gun to it (oversized hair dryer) get it warped back into shape, then take and put a thin layer of glass on the whole inside of the nose (well - the areas that tend to sag) the put it back on the car and hope for the best

I did mine in the summer and it was hot. I used 3m super weatherstrip adhesive spray and pieces of styrofoam. For the bottom I used 2" strips of metal from the hardware store to even out the bottom.
