Has anyone done a spindle swap/upgrade on their Fiero? I would like to consider swapping Corvette spindles/discs for better braking performance and an easier lug patern for wheel selection.

Has anyone done this successfully? And, more importantly, is it worth the effort?

In essence, what I would like to accomplish is a good performing brake/wheel upgrade!

I don't think this is possible. The front geometry of the '84-87 Fieros was borrowed from the Chevrolet Chevette, and the '88 front suspension is totally unique to the Fiero, so the Corvette parts won't fit or be alignable.

Also, the Fiero uses a different offset than the Corvette, so even if you managed to somehow get a Corvette bolt pattern on your hubs, it's unlikely that you could find wheels that would fit and work correctly on a Fiero.

Interesting history Jazzman! I had one of those loveable little Chevettes! I'll do some research on a possible swap with C4/C5 brake parts! Also, re: wheel offsets; there are several wheel manufacturers that make custom 2/3 part modular wheels for street rods, etc. Dialing in a specific offset is no problem... at least so I'm told! After the holidays I'll be doing some more investigations and will keep the forum posted should I come up with anything.

Does the Ogre have any input?

You mean like these: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/034430.html

------------------
'87 Fiero GT: Northstar, Getrag, TGP wheels, rear sway bar, rod end links, bushings, etc.
'90 Pontiac 6000 SE AWD: Leaking ABS unit fixed, load levelling rear suspension fixed, still slow
