A few people have ask about the Stewert water pump and I finally got a replacement camera to document the rest of the build.

The pump has larger diameter inlet/outlet ports then the stock factory tubing so I used silicon hose reducers to make the transitions.

I cut out a section of the coolent tube and welded the hose barb back on.

The pump fits rather nicely between the rack and the roll bar. It's also above the transome so I don't have to worry about armadillo strikes.

I welded a 1/4" thick bracket to the frame to keep it put.

The view without the fiborglass trunk liner shows the basic layout. The pump controller will be mounted on the inner fender well tucked into the nook behind the passanger side headlamp.

The pump does fit under the puke tank and clears the stock fan shroud.

These's pumps will flow 55 gpm and have a 10,000 MTBF rating. That's about half what a stock SBC pump will flow at 5000 rpm. When you put it in real world terms, I should have the same flow rate at idle as I would have at 65 mph. and I can maintain that after I shut the engine off untill the preset shut off temp is reached.

that is verry cool
i have the CSI on my V8 and i love it,
what motor are you running?
but it dosent seem verry cost efective, i mean a replacment stock metal impellar V6 pump is only like $14
what made you decide to go this route?
what belt did you use once you eliminated it?
did you just build a block off plate on the motor?or just like gut the stock pump?
i would like to see some Engine pics if you could

+++ for the great job

just noticd that you have a 350 hints the screen name, DOH..
what made you go this route VS. using the SCI like i have?
they make a nice remote mount kit for it too
the CSI flows 37GPM and in all reality"I" think that is more than sufficiant
it is $259 in Summit and the Moroso pump is $10 more and says it flowe21% more than competition, but dosent give any numbers.any thoughts on upgrading the radiator?
i have a man. tranny (more cap. in radiator) and i run 220* in 100* weather, but im still concidering the Archie 4 core

No, it's not very cost effective. But it is cool and bleeding edge and you do not see them very often outside pro racing circles, so that justification enough. LOL!

I used a Dedenbear water manifold to plumb it into the front of the 355 inch small block. This is not the intake I will use but it does make good eye candy.

Moroso also makes a remote mount water pump.

No, the last time I talked to the guys at Stewart they have not released thier street version of this pump yet. The engine temp is controlled by a hi flow thermostat in the regular place.
