Has anyone ever used a double din stereo in a Fiero? If so how was the installation? LMK

hi it should fit, but as you see by recent post be carefull on the depth, i bought a radio and it sticks out to much.........................try to check the dimensions before you buy.....................

double din is to big for the stock opening in the dash, it's a din and a half.

Yeah, double DIN won't work without some cutting. I recall hearing about someone who had done it, but it's a lot of work. There are plenty of single DIN and DIN and a half. I wouldn't want the hassle personally.

Here's a pic of my install, It wasn't too bad. A little trimming here and there, a couple of custom brackets. Couple of hours worth of work. Here's a pic. (The whole set up is for sale by the way)
