I threw a belt on my 3800SC engine today. I have no idea as to how the new one should be routed. Does anyone have a pic that they can post? It is the alt/water pump belt.

Thanks in advance

My engine is the GTP engine with the alt mounted on top. I did not realize that the Bonnie was routed different.

wish I could help ya looked around the web with nothing on it either. My dad drew a belt diagram for the supercharger/alt routing for me would've given you that if you had the same motor as me.

you aren't the only one, I was baffled why the belts were shorter and soon after found out they were routed differently.. things can never be the same when it comes to cars

Below is a photo of my belt routing. The tensioner for the accessory belt has been changed to a grooved pulley. The tensioner for the supercharger is for a GTP.

The accessory belt I used is a Gatorback 40060835 - 6PK2120 and the supercharger belt is a Gatorback 4060660 -6PK1675. The grooved Idler pulley is Gates # 38009 or Goofyear # 49003.

I hope this helps.
