Funny you should mention that!

That's exactly what I ended up using. Two bricks that is. And a ratchet supplemented as a hammer ( No... I don't own a hammer. Dunno why. heh )

the rubber seal has a grove on the flat side.
this groove should line up with the groove in the case.
imagine a moat around a castle.
this moat helps hold the other half of the case in place when it's all bolted together.

if the rubber seal is out of place the knob will keep hitting it in the down position and the down limit switch will not be able to open the circuit to stop the motor from turning.

Bump because this is very useful stuff. And I just rebuilt mine and now its heat cycling after the light gets all the way down. I believe this is something to do with the limit switch. Anyone have any ideas?
