anyone w/ a pic and know where i can get one of those center console 8" or 10" sub boxes. i havnt decided if i'm going to put it in yet but i'd like to look at my options.
the fierostore used to carry them didnt they? i cant seem to find any threads or anything on them.
-i dont really use the storage there, i want a better sound out of the car but nothing crazy. i'm not gonna put like 2 12's behind the seats or anything, just probably replace the dash speakers and put an 8" in between the seats i guess.
feel free to throw your opinions in too.

right now im working on getting an 8" behind the passenger seat... im using a QLT-.3508 truck box... so far the only speaker that wont fit in it is a JL 8" which was too much anyway... im putting in a Pyle speaker that is rated at 250watts RMS and 500 Peak, the best ive see to date... with this setup i loose minimal leg room on the passenger side.
Pic Of Pontiac Sound 10 Inch Console Box ...Really Nice ..Lost A Small Bit Of Shoulder Room ...But Very Much Worth It

zero, where did you get it? it looks like it comes out towards the front of the car further than i'd like, is there an 8" box that is smaller, or a six? anyone do custom job on it to fit a speaker inside?

Check out www.fibersmith.net They have one that is angled to the side, so that the driver's arm isn't as crowded. I've been looking into getting one, and it is definately the one I'm going to order.
anyone else have one or know where else to get em, or is there any different models, styles, colors. does the amp fit in the console as well? i dont really like how it protrudes out so far.

From all the ones I've seen, the fibersmith one, doesn't bother the driver much more than a factory glove box does, but it definately comes out a ways on the passenger side. I've seen the one in Rare87GT's red 88 Formula, and I liked it. The other option, is to take a factory underdash sub enclosure (from the Performance Sound option), and enlarge it to accept either a 6 1/2" or even an 8".
No, the amp will not fit in the console, with the sub, it would need to be mounted elsewhere... IE- Behind the seat, or near the spare tire, etc.
Hope this helps...

Until PontiacSound makes good on the orders people have already paid for months ago, you might want to rethink where you send your hard earned bucks.
I personally am a fan of the passenger footwell option for subs. I used a Polk Audio 10" sub in my last GT, and I was blown away by the sound of spddy's 8" JL sub in his new KOTM.

If you don't have the factory subwoofer, you might be able to mount the amp in that space (depending on the size of the amp). Pic below:
