So my back inner brake oads are missing this so called clip or something.... I've Used silicon to stop the pad rattle temporary.
Where to I get this part? Can I go to a GM dealership to get them?

I gotta fix these things... Ive got all new calipers, and pads... This minor rattle is unacceptable!

The retainer is still available from ACDelco (p/n 179-1055) or as part of a caliper hardware kit from Raybestos and others.

Raybestos H5592

Awsome,

One more thing.... Is it hard to install?

Will it come with new brake pads if I buy um?

In my experience, new pads don't come with retainers.

The retainers are easy to install, though. They "twist-lock" onto the piston face, then the pads clip in. When you turn the pistons back, make sure the notches in the piston face are off-kilter. You'll see what I mean when you're working on it.

I put a new caliper on my 1984 Fiero a few months ago from Autozone and it came with the retaining clip in the picture. You can take it off by rotating it until the slots and notches line up. So I guess you might have to get a new caliper to get a new clip.
