I have the Intrax in my car and love them. They are progressive, this means as the car get lower the springs are harder reducing the chances to the frame hit the ground. Also the car looks awesome.

I bought the Intrax lowering springs from a PFF member. I was going to buy the intrax springs from the fierostore but i figured that someone on here has bought them and never installed them or has used them slightly, so i waited one year and then somebody came up in the mall with a brand new set never installed for $200 shipped. 50 bucks cheaper then from the fierostore so i jumped on it. So if you watch the mall you might get lucky. And i dont know if the Eibach springs are progressive but i do know that the intrax and i liked that and also 1 inch of drop wasnt enough for me so thats another reason i went for the intrax. Overall everybody that has installed the intrax springs said that when it all got settled then the drop was exactly 2 inchs. Im not saying that the Eibach's are bad springs because eibach is one of the top brands in lowering springs. Hope this helped and im sure there a few others that have them installed that will give you lots of good information too.

olaf... before you order from the fiero store... i know there are canadian distributors that can get intrax springs. This way you won't have to pay duty on your order which will be about another $70.00+. So by the time they're here they'll cost around $450 canadian. I'm sure if you hunt around you'll be able to find a local store that can get them for you for about $325... canadian.
When I bought my car, it came with lowering springs installed - mind you I don't know who's they are - the rear springs are red. Don't know if they're progressive or not. All I know is that the car pulls almost 1 lateral G (.97) with otherwise stock suspension with 225 50R16's all around as measured by my FX2 accelerometer. You're gonna have fun. Only downside - the front end hits those bumps pretty darn hard. Hope your teeth are in good condition.

I bought the fiero store Eibach lowering springs used from slammedfiero a few years ago. They were painted red and I believe they are progressive but not positive on that. They give a great ride, but I feel they didn't lower the car enough in the rear.

My car sits on Intrax springs with full polly bushings and sensitrac shock/struts and they are wonderful. They ride nice and look great. The drop turned out to be 2 full inches all the way around wich was perfect for me.

My buddy's friend owns total performance, his name is warren... they seem to have fair prices... and $400 might not be bad if that includes tax. casue don;'t forget you'll hav to pay duty and GST on your fierostore parts once they arrive... plus the shipping fees and currency exchange rate.

Has anyone had problems with the front bumpstops using intrax? I sure did and took them off. My car was riding on the bumpstops and it was a pretty harsh ride for Puerto Rico roads. Now i'm going to buy eibach to see how they fit.
You can go through Contemporary Motorsports in Calgary, you can order the Intrax springs online for about $240 CDN + shipping more than likely (They're $191 USD).

i have the ST springs and I had bumpstop troubles... but instead of just removing the rubber i cut and re-welded the tower removing about 1". i checked for shock bottoming out as well by reassemley of the front w/o the springs.... everything clears and the bump stop bottoms out before the shock.

that's a pretty good price. i think they dropped in price since i talked to the guy in august. he said they normally stock a set but were out at the moment and would be prolly 3 weeks till i saw them which isn't too bad concidering winter here and lowered fieros dont mix well. i may have to pick some up if i ever get my credit card paid off.
I put on the Eibach springs on my old 86 GT. They were about the best mod I ever did. Dropped it but not to low so it cleared everything but looked and handled a lot better. They pretty much rode like the stock ones until you pushed it into a corner. Then they hunkered down and pushed the car through the corner really nicely. Looked good too. Dropped the front an inch and the rear about 3/4 or so. Looked much better. Definitely worth it in my book and not as harsh as the Intrax.
