I bought a new moulding strip and fastener kit from the Fiero Store. Kit came with 3 rivits. the small one goes in the door jam but the other two I'm not sure of. There are 2 plastic fasteners for the moulding, one has a hole the other snaps in, but the rivits are different. One has a steel shank the other plastic and is longer. Does anyone have a picture or can explain so I can finish this tonight? Thanks alot!

I don't know, but they are likely to mount the quarter panel to the car. I find it just as easy to discard the rivets and bolt the panel on with stainless nuts and bolts.

I agree with the bolts. They allow you more than one try, to adjust finale the position of the panel.

This is great for the quarter panel, but I have it installed. It's the rivits for the moulding I'm working with.

I still have these rivits in my pocket. Someone has had to put on the moulding with the Fiero Store kit. Where do the two large different pop rivits go? HELP--- the project is done except for the moulding.

A guy I work with has some black duct tape and since my car is black we are going to just tape the moulding on till I can find out where the pop rivits go.

Is this for an 86 GT? (guessing from previous posts). Is the moulding #11 below?

Maybe the plastic rivit holds this clip:

The metal one may be used on some years?
