i believe that is normal since the o2 sensors we use are narrow band and the computer is looking for either rich OR lean and it goes between the two extremes... thats why when people use A/F guages in there cars tehy are always swinging back and forth...

Not knowing much about winaldl, it looks like it's just showing you the o2 cross counts? It'll go upto 255, then recycle to zero..... count up to 255 ->0, etc... Basically every time the oxygen sensor crosses 0.45 volts (stoichiometric), it will increase the count by one. The more/faster counts you get, the closer the engine is to 14.7:1.

I'm not sure about the V6, but the O2 sensor in my '87 Duke "flip-flops" (from less than 0.45V to greater than 0.45V and back) about once per second. I've been told that this is normal.

BTW, what do the numbers on the bottom of the graph represent?

OK, I should've said "the readout from the engine scanner flip-flops once per second".
