I bought a front kit from sluppy awhile back but he did not do rear kits at that time. Not sure about now? But if not Rodney Dickman has single and dual rear kits at his website.

nice setup.
i would have ordered a kit but my N2O bottle was empty so i couldn't do any testing with it so i just made my own.
so i wouldn't have to wait on the mail.
but here's a bump.

my Ling wont ever be a show winner like the guy with the carpet in the front trunk.
but with less than $2 worth of hardware i was able to attach the lift support following your example.
and the strut was 15.99 from Oreilly's, HELP brand PN 95051

using your measurements as a guide i attached a cable clamp around where i thought it should go

drilled and tapped my hood hinge for a 5/16 bolt.

seems to work good

and finally my hood will stay up and i have room for my n2o stuff.

thanks for the research info.
you got a plus from me.

EDIT, sorry, you already had a + from me.

i was doing some testing with hood venting and popped the hood while driving on the highway.
as i was watched my hood kinda bob up and down, i remembered the hood strut.
how many years of normal service do you get out of them?
or more to the point. have you had to replace any yet?

I used the hood strut from a 3rd gen firebird, (two of them actually), Just ask for that at the autozone. They will ask if it has a spoiler, as if that makes a difference. Just flip a coin, it won't matter.

And the hardware from Sluppy123. Yeah I could have made it myself, but I like to support Fiero vendors, Sluppy might make soemthing else that I need in the future.

i wasn't trying to undermind sluppy, he had the idea.
i had some down time and his idea was itchin at me. so i went with what i had nearby.
of course it looks like something made on a pig farm, but it still works for me.
