I just got a Firebird wing off of ebay. If I remember correctly, the Generation 3 Firebird wing is nearly identical to the Fiero wing. What are the differences? Does it sit higher or lower? Is it longer or shorter than the Fiero wing? Is it heavier or lighter? Will the Fiero gaskets fit on the firebird wing or do I need to order from GM the actual Firebird gaskets if they need replaced?

They are two different wings, but are about the same width. It works nicely on a Fiero because of the size. I would be very surprised if the mounts were in the same place.

It appears that the stands are a bit lower which might be a look more pleasing to me. It's going on either an 84 SE (On an 87 notchback's rear decklid) or an 87 coupe. Neither decklids have holes drilled in them anyways.

Both wings are roughly the same width - from one side of the car to the other - but are very different widths - leading edge to trailing edge.

I'd initially thought that the ends of a Firebird wing would stick out past the sides of the Fiero, but a Fiero looks very nice with a Firebird wing on it. I prefer the OEM Fiero wing, but the Firebird wing doesn't look bad at all.

Here is one on my sons Fiero. Its going to be removed for a more sporty one. They do fit right on...But the mounting locations are different.

I think it'll look pretty good on an 84 or a plain jane 87 notchie.
