It looks like I have a little bit of some sort of greenish oil coming from my SC snout. Theres no play on the snout, and I'm wondering if this is normal. How do you add oil to the SC? Any other info I might need? Thanks!

it's normal to get "slight" seepage out of the breather nut , as for checking the oil level there is a allen socket plug on the rear side of the snout. Fill the snout to the bottom of the threaded hole with GM Supercharger oil.

I just changed the supercharger oil in my Grand Prix GTP. There is a threaded plug with a hex hole on it located on the lower part of the snout opposite the pulley end. If its in a Fiero, it will be on the firewall side. The oil level should be up to the bottom part of the fill hole. You can use an old squirter bottle trigger pump to get the old oil out. Two 4oz. bottles of oil are needed and can be purchased at any GM dealer (not all of them stock it) P/N 12345982. I paid 10 bucks and some change for the two bottles.

A turkey baster works well to suck it out too.

Don't get the old oil on you, it smells like dead people..........

if its leaking out the snout by the belt there is a seal in there that goes out, its like $20 for the swal from zzp i think, but mine was leaking (right under the pully) it made a huge mess in the engine bay because it got on the belt and it flung oil everywhere and also caused major belt slippage

If you havent changed out the SC oil, then take the time and do so. Use a vacum pump tp suck out the old and hold your breath while doing so. Takes just under 2 bottles to refill the snout and your good to go. Mine has never leaked but have read about them leaking where the snout meets the case, no seal in there to stop it.

actually if you were to ever take the snout apart, youe sposed to use a sealer, GM has some stuff its in a small red tube and its like a red gel if i gemember right, its similar to loctite

and i have also heard that the terrible smell is actually "rotting" material, there were talks on clubGP a while back about what the GM sc oil actually is made of, and rumor has it it is made from plant and other tree oils of some sort or somthing like that, so it actually is "rotten" organic oil

in all reality i dont see why somthing high quality like mobil-1 0-30 or somthing like that wouldnt do the trick just as good
