yeah, make sure you compare it to your stock clutch. if the center hub isn't the same, send it back.
yes, this is very important. spec is still sending out fiero clutches with the wrong hubs on them.
the thing to look at specifically is the distance the center splined hub sticks out on each side. the sleeve should stick out further on one side than the other; this needs to be the same side it sticks out on the stock clutch.
Josh and Steven nailed it on the head. I didn't believe it either, but it turns out that sometimes the actual splined hub that goes around the input shaft can stick out on the tranny side of the disc. The tranny and motor will bolt together fine, but on startup, the protruding hub will rub against the sleeve the TOB rides on, wearing a gouge in it and preventing the TOB from reaching the pressure plate spring fingers. Make sure you have the right disc design.

Got this reply today. Stephen was glad to help with my question.

I just emailed your invoice with tracking#. The only difference in this setup you are doing is the hub portion has to be reversed so as the longer portion of the hub is toward the flywheel and not the plate. If you have any doubts about what you got send me some pics via email of the disc (front/back) and I will make sure it is ok.
We only to my knowledge had a couple units slip out the door with the incorrect hub placement.
Thanks
Stephen

The one that came with the clutch looks the same but on the side of the TO bearing, the part taht spins is only 1/4" thick. Where may origianl bearing the entire side spins, as though it has more bearing area to carry the load.
Will post pics on Sunday or Monday as this is my first day off in three weeks.

There was another recent post here about wrong TO bearing supplied, for an Isuzu, I think. When you talk with Spec again, ask them if they can accept an order with "TO Bearing delete", so they customer can buy his own locally or whereever?
When I ordered mine spec told me any TO bearing to a isuzu will work with there clutch and pressure plate. I brought mine from autozone. Yours like just like mine I love mine but I still have to get used to the clutch chatter when im backing up or taking off

Do you have a shot of the TO bearing? Are you using a GETRAG?
Mine came with a TO bearing for a getrag... Unfortantly mine is a izusu...... If you need a spec getrag TO bearing you can have this one (came with my spec clutch and could not be used) I can ship to you for free, Pm me with shipping info if you need.
