I'm amazed this thread is still alive. I haven't been on these boards since my last post in this thread almost a half year ago. Imagine my surprise when I got an e-mail saying I had a pm regarding this thread.
All new links have been added with the exception of 007's because there are far too many links there for me to easily incorporate them all. I will add a link to his post in this thread instead. I also did a little reformatting (nothing major). Everyone who has contributed has a + from me
To answer the sticky question: I was thinking about this thread almost a year ago when I read cliff talking about a FAQ thread. I sent cliff a few pm’s about it that have since been auto deleted. The general gist is that he was all for a FAQ thread but he didn’t want it to be a one man show. I posted a suggestion thread in GFC and a few people tossed in ideas.
I’m all for it becoming a sticky. People are still talking about the need for a FAQ. This thread is another example.
| quote | A real FAQ page with a button that took you there on every page might be the way to go. We keep rehashing this but nobody seems to want to do the work that needs to be done. |

This thread was referenced, but the poster didn’t realize it.
I’m not trying to flame, I’m just trying to point out that this thread is still not as well known as some would like to think. I have no problems updating it as people give me more info, but it would be nice if it could have a better home instead of just floating around.
I’m also looking for someone that’s willing to take on the responsibility of hosting 4 web pages I created for the FAQ (less than 50kb most likely). They are static and will never need to be updated. I’m currently hosting them off my PC. Needless to say those pages are probably only up 70% of the time. It would be nice to have a better host.
Again, if anyone has anything they want to add to this thread at any point, PM it to me. I probably won’t check this thread very often otherwise because I’m never on the boards anymore.
