I was one of the lucky people who picked up a set of Darrell's Strut tower brace.

Now I have two 88s and one strut tower brace. Would it be better to install it on my 88 GT with its 3.4 L engine

or put it on my 88 IMSA wide body 5.7 L ZZ4 ?

I drive the 88 GT a lot more than the IMSA, plus the IMSA is blue. The red strut brace goes better with the red intake and valve covers of the 3.4 L engine than the black/silver V8 .

Well which one do you want to be tighter? :P

I'd say the v8 could probably use it more as you've got more torque + weight trying to bend things around....

but really it comes down to what you want. If you have the most fun and drive the 3.4 the most, then by all means throw it on it. It's just gonna help reduce body flex so ... yep pick whichever car you want to have the least body flex

Put it on the car you want to dress up. Installed mine two days ago, looks sharp, as far as handling improvement I doubt that it could add much, but it can't hurt. Would be easy to paint the bar to match what ever car you chose.
